A hearty red lentil dahl with warming spices. All you need to make this easy recipe is organic Bombay Tomato Dahl Mix, 2 Cups of mixed vegetables, tin of tomatoes & water .
Quick & easy meal for those who prefer a little spice.
Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee or coconut oil in a medium sized saucepan. Add Bombay tomato dahl mix, stirring until fragrant, approximately 2 minutes
- Add 2 cups of mixed chopped vegetables - our favourite is zucchini, red onion & capsicum.
- Add 1 400g tin of chopped tomatoes & 3 cups of boiling water.
- Once bubbling, reduce to a low-medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Served here with Roti breads, chop salad, Yoghurt and Chutney.
