Made up of a vibrant blend of turmeric, spices, red & yellow lentils. A quick healthy meal without sacrificing flavour. All you need to make this easy dahl is Organic Zesty Turmeric dahl mix, 2 cups of vegetables, water and a squeeze of fresh lemon to finish.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee or coconut oil in a medium sized saucepan. Add dahl mix, stirring until fragrant, approximately 2 minutes
- Add 2 cups of mixed chopped vegetables - our favourite is carrot & baby spinach.
- Add 5 cups of boiling water.
- Once bubbling, reduce to a low-medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring ocasionaly. Add the juice of 1 lemon once cooked.
Served here with basmati rice, cucumber pieces, yoghurt and chutney. Paired perfectly with our Mumbai chai tea.
