From the Love My Earth kitchen to yours, this is the magic seasoning that makes every mince dish AMAZING! This Savoury Mince is a scrumptious combination of tender lamb and vibrant vegetables. Perfect for a hearty meal with leftovers for lunch the next day - try it in a jaffle with cheese!

Ingredients for Savoury Mince:

  • 1 Quick Stix Savoury Mince recipe base
  • 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 kg of lamb mince
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of frozen peas, carrot & corn (mixed)
  • Optional: Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Heat: In a large saucepan, heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Brown Mince: Add the 1 kg of lamb mince and cook until browned, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add Seasoning: Stir in the Quick Stix Savoury Mince recipe base, coating the meat and cooking until fragrant.
  4. Mix in Liquids: Add 1 cup of water and 1 cup of frozen peas, carrot & corn. Stir thoroughly to combine.
  5. Simmer: Once bubbling, reduce heat to a simmer for 20 minutes, stirring as needed to prevent sticking.

Serving Suggestion: Serve your Savoury Mince with flatbreads, a fresh salad, and a side of yoghurt and chutney. Whack the leftovers in a toastie. Perfect on toast for brekky. Great for meal prepping with rice and a good fruit chutney.
