Creamy Organic Butter Chicken Sourdough Melt - Because butter chicken isn’t just for rice anymore! If you enjoy healthy and organic cooking, which is still budget friendly, this Butter Chicken Sourdough Melt will blow your mind.
It’s creamy, cheesy, crunchy… and made with our Organic Butter Chicken Mix
Ingredients for Organic Butter Chicken Melt:
- 2 tbsp of ghee
- 1/3 sachet of Organic Butter Chicken Quick Stix Mix
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of coconut cream
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/2 red onion, tinnly sliced
- 120g diced mushrooms
- 400g diced chicken
- 150g grated cheddar
- Fresh parsley for topping
Cooking Instructions:
- Melt : the ghee to a medium sized pan
- Sautée: the onion and mushroom for about two minutes
- Add: the chicken and cook until lightly browned.
- Add: the Organic Butter Chicken seasoning and coat everything until fragrant.
- Stir: Pour in water, coconut cream and tomato paste and stir well.
- Bring: to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes until slightly thickened.

Cut: the bread in half and sprinkle the cheese on top, place on a baking tray
- Top up: add the Butter Chicken on top of each of the breads
- Sprinkle: cheddar on top
- Bake: for 5-10 minutes or until the cheese melts
- Sprinkle: fresh parsley and enjoy warm
