Healthy Bolognese style Sausage rolls

Ingredients for Quick Stix Healthy Bolognese style sausage rolls:

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Sauté : Dice the onion and mushrooms, add a spoon of the Bolognese organic mix and saute in a pan with oil. Put aside to cool down.
  2. Grate: The carrot and courgette and squeeze the juice out.
  3. Mix: In a large bowl, mix the meat, fresh grated veggies and sautéed ones. Add the rest of the QuickStixMix Bolognese. Use your hands to combine well.
  4. Roll: Spread the mixture equally on the pastry sheet, close and press firmly. Place on a non stick baking tray (use a baking sheet if needed), cut in smaller pieces and brush with egg.
  5. Bake: Pre-heat the oven and bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees C, then on 180 degrees C for another 15-20 minutes or until golden and ready. 
  6. Cool down: Let it cool down slightly and serve warm.

Serving Suggestion:

Serve your Quick Stix Bolognese sausage rolls  with chutney or tomato sause. Great for  the kids lunchboxes or an afternoon snack.
