Ingredients for Healthy Feta & Basil Bolognese Puff Pastry Christmas trees:
- 1 puff Butter pastry sheet (375g) from Careme
- 3 tbsp Organic Quick Stix Bolognese – pure herbs & spices
- Fresh basil – about a handful
- 1/8 cup + 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 100g feta (soaked in water for a few hours if too salty)
- 7 cherry tomatoes
Cooking Instructions:
- Blend: the basil, feta, olive oil, and Organic Quick Stix Bolognese until smooth and creamy. Add extra olive oil if needed for a spreadable consistency.
- Slice: the puff pastry sheet in half. Spread the feta and herb mixture evenly over one half, then place the other half on top.
- Cut: into strips approximately 2 cm wide.
- Shape: each strip into a Christmas tree shape, gently twisting and folding, then secure with a skewer.
- Bake: on a non-stick stainless Steel or use a baking sheet - about 15-20 minutes
- Top: with cherry tomatoes and serve warm
Tips:
If the puff pastry becomes sticky due to the warm weather, Place in the Friede for 5-10minutes and the continue shaping it.
