Slow-cooked brisket made with Quick Stix Brisket organic seasoning

Meet Brisket Quick Stix: Certified Organic Seasoning for Smoky Brisket, Pulled Pork and Lamb

I love brisket. I love a BBQ, the long slow cook and everyone gathering around for that first piece off the board. So when customers kept asking me for something they could marinate a beautiful piece of meat with, without fillers, white sugar or anti-caking agents, I knew exactly what I wanted to create.

Say hello to Brisket Quick Stix.

Six months in the making

This one took time. For six months I tested, tasted and tweaked to get the balance of smoky, salty and sweet just right. Was it worth it? Absolutely. When those three flavours sit together the way they should, every mouthful has a bit of everything.

What's inside

Smoked paprika is the heart of this blend, bringing a rich, smoky depth. Coconut sugar brings the sweetness in place of refined sugar. Then there's the herb and spice blend I spent so long getting right: onion, garlic, cumin, thyme, black pepper and coriander, with organic tomato powder and a little sea salt.

That's it. No fillers, no refined sugar and no anti-caking agents. The ingredients are dairy free, gluten free and vegan, and it's mild and chilli free, so the whole family can enjoy it.

Who it's for

This one is for all the BBQ lovers, the brisket, pulled pork, lamb and meat lovers who want a wholesome way to season their meat, with ingredients they can trust. One 55g pack seasons up to 2kg of meat, perfect for a family feast or meal prep for the week ahead.

My favourite way to enjoy it

Lamb ribs. Cut 2kg of lamb ribs into pieces, add the Brisket Quick Stix and your oil of choice, and let them sit for an hour or two if time allows. Roast at 140°C until the meat is falling off the bone, then turn up the heat to finish them off. Serve with our Bone Broth Rice and a fresh, crunchy slaw, and enjoy!

For brisket or pulled pork, rub a 1.5 to 2kg piece of meat with olive oil, coat it well with the whole sachet and let it rest for an hour so the flavour can soak in. Add ½ cup of water, cover, and cook low at around 160°C for 4 hours, or until it's falling apart. Stir a little cornflour through the cooking liquid for a rich gravy, then pull the meat apart with two forks. Full instructions are on the pack.

It's also beautiful on pork collar butt, a boneless leg of lamb or a butterflied whole chicken. Have fun and experiment.
